Well supported, locally anchored, and globally connected.
We, both as a local and global community, are certainly aiming high. But that’s because we need to. A proportion of the population must drive innovation from the edge by making the commitment to create positive social change.
As we approach a global population of 8 billion, and a London population larger than ever before, the continuing development of the social innovation movement is crucial to maintain and improve living standards, equality, and environmental sustainability.
We are constantly looking beyond space provision through the further development of our business support programmes, collaboration infrastructure, and partner networks. You can expect more programmes and accelerators, more collaborations with academia, public, and private institutions. Furthermore, we are pleased to announce our commitment to increase support for environmental innovation from late 2015 onwards.
We are working on services and partnerships that ensure renewed generations of impact makers, and to create jobs where jobs are needed. Our ever-growing global community will soon become even more connected, and we can expect to see globally aligned definitions of social impact, streamlined transfer of innovations, and impact economies of scale. Exciting times to look forward to. We look forward to sharing them with you.
